Nowadays, advertising is everywhere. From classic billboards on the highway to influencers’ latest product recommendations on your social feed, advertising is difficult to avoid. In the modern age, digital advertising is especially prevalent and relevant in that we now consume the majority of our media online. Although advertising directly funds some of our favorite content, it can also greatly impede our online experiences. I mean, who hasn’t let out an audible groan when a huge, full screen banner advertisement obscures the latest “top 5 things your cat wants you to know” article?

While at my time at Triplelift, a technology company based in New York, I sought to (web)address this issue through the design and development of programmatic advertising experiences “native” to their respective environments. The result was a more pleasant online experience for everyone involved (advertiser and consumer alike).

Everybody wins

Each ad experience accommodates multiple ad creative formats (video, photo, carousel, cinemagraph, and more) with a native design and a programmatic backend process for a wide variety of top publishers and clients. The ability to incorporate all of these traditionally exclusionary attributes into one seamless, responsive code template and design yielded great results for all parties involved. There was greater monetization for publishers, a higher CTR / more conversions for advertisers, and a more pleasant online experience for consumers. And so, everybody wins.
